I apologise for the downtime earlier, there was a localised power cut to the modem.

I am looking into UPSes for increased uptime.

PythonMOO, now with more RAM (and hopefully) less crashes!

A RAM upgrade doubled the previous amount to a (still quite measly, but usable) 128MB

Hopefully, this should sort out the few hangs we've had recently, which I suspect are from mySQL overuse

Downtime was from about 18:20-19:05, all systems returned fine.

I accidently DoSed the server, by trying to generate an image of a barcode around 10,000 pixels wide.

I was testing Ian's barcode generator, and proved it has a DoS possibility.

Unfortunately, at around 20:30 this evening (14th Mar), someone/thing switched off power to the router whilst I was out.

Power was restored on return, about 4 hours later.

A break in our record uptime

I am scheduling down time for the weekend of the 30th/1st June/July

The reason for this is a long-required server clean up and general maintenance

Continued upgrades from OpenBSD 3.7 has made the insides a little rusty and slow

Downtime is to be a minimum of 1hr, possibly lasting as long as 3hrs.

Further details will be given closer to the time.

Downtime

At 3pmish GMT, the server hosting location experienced a powercut.

The outage lasted around 15 minutes, the MOO was restarted without issue, but may have experienced some data loss of any work done after the last dump.

Planned downtime Wed 19th Dec, 18:00 GMT onwards

Downtime is planned for this Wednesday from 18:00 GMT for an OS upgrade.

Expected downtime will last for about an hour.

Ensure all open work is saved by this time.
